Hydrosorb Hydrogel Sheet Dressings

Hydrosorb  is a transparent hydrogel dressing consisting of an absorbent polyurethane-polyurea hybrid polymer which contains propylene glycol. Also available in a bordered version.

The backing consists of a gas-permeable polyurethane film which is impermeable to liquids and bacteria. Hydrosorb can release moisture and absorb a limited amount of exudate. The dressing provides a moist wound environment due to high water content of approx. 60%,  which has a stimulating effect on wound healing. Hydrosorb is transparent which allows wound inspection at any time without a change of dressing and may not stick to the wound. For a bordered option, choose Hydrosorb Comfort. 

Standard

Hydrosorb can be cut into the desired size. The dressing has a slight initial self-adhesive effect; however for fixation please use a suitable secondary dressing (e.g. adhesive tapes or bandages).
The gel dressing has no adhesive border; however for permanent fixation, an additional securing with adhesive tapes or conforming bandages is recommended

Comfort

Hydrosorb Comfort has a skin-friendly adhesive film border, coated with polyacrylate adhesive, no other materials are needed to secure the dressing. For moist wound treatment, especially for the treatment of clinically non-infected wounds during granulation and epithelization stage, in leg ulcers or decubitus; for the treatment of burns up to degree 2a; to promote re-epithelization of split-skin graft donor sites after bleeding has stopped; thanks to the detachable foil where you can write on, the wound size can be documented. Can be applied underneath compression bandages and/or compression stocking. The dressing cannot be cut.
